Data Protection

Companies are advised on the protection and responsible use of personal data, combining legal expertise with a strategic business perspective. In an environment where data has become a core asset, the focus is on ensuring legal compliance, information security and the strengthening of institutional reputation.

Support is provided in achieving compliance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD), through the structuring and implementation of data protection governance programmes. This work includes data mapping, risk assessments, the drafting of internal policies and the definition of processes to ensure the proper handling of personal data.

Advice also covers the review and drafting of contracts and clauses related to the processing and sharing of personal data, including transactions involving international data transfers. Support is provided in defining the roles and responsibilities of the Data Protection Officer (DPO), as well as in aligning global data protection practices with the requirements of Brazilian legislation.

In addition, clients are represented before authorities and data subjects, including the preparation of responses to requests and the development of defence strategies. The approach is focused on risk prevention, ongoing compliance and the creation of secure and trustworthy environments for data processing.
